CARBON POWERED SOIL
Biochar: carbon powered soils of, by, and for the people.
Few human cultures learned to build soil. Over our past 40,000 years most degraded it.
Somewhere it got the name “dirt”. Civilizations rose and fell based on the quality and productivity of their soil.
Franklin D. Roosevelt declared during the Dust Bowl, “The nation that destroys it’s soil, destroys itself”.
Soil is a strategic resource.
If we humans learn to live, let live, and build soil, we won’t be the sixth extinction.
Biochar: an ancient technology with a future.
