Our mission is threefold: to build biochar enhanced soil on our own lands, to empower others to build their soils and gardens through the democratization of biochar technology, and to develop economic potential for biochar.
We accomplish this through:
1.) Locally incorporating a growing information base that is disseminating from over 140 research facilities, universities, and organizations worldwide,
2.) Collecting local soil site data and anecdotal experience,
3.) Sampling for soil health lab testing,
4.) Reaching out, connecting people and resources, and,
5.) Sharing and presenting our findings.
Value and opportunity is often deeper than the visible surface. We believe that our soils are critical resources for a sustainable civilization and healthy humanity. We all have the power to constructively participate in the carbon cycle and food chain of which we are a part. Soil is under our feet and our common ground.
