CARBON WHO

carbon tim

Tim Overdier worked with soils over a 40 year career in 10 Western states and 24 Indian reservations. This work involved county soil survey, irrigation surveys for water rights, mine reclamation studies, oil and gas environmental impact studies, and hazardous materials site assessments and as a reclamation operator mobilizing farm equipment to roadside, pipeline, and mined land reseeding projects.

Tim had the opportunity to observe firsthand, North American Continent’s oldest soils — native prairies, remote mesas and mountains, and old-growth forest soils — untouched remnants of what was here before European migration. He also saw soils that were used, abused, and contaminated by the activities of the current civilization.

All a depth of humanity and landscape which most Anglos will probably never experience.
